I can't believe it is already November. This year is flying by! I'm currently awake, not able to sleep for some reason. Funny how I can be exhausted for the entire day, yet bed time rolls around and I'm wide awake. I've got a lot on my mind, but none of it makes a lot of sense.
The house smells so yummy right now. I've got a crockpot of apples, spices, cranberries and oats going for the morning crew. We have snow forcasted for tomorrow. Already. Why did we move north again?! I love the seasons though. The trees are so beautiful during the fall.....if only fall lasted longer than a few weeks. It has been a huge adjustment. It was a good move though. Nearly 2 years later, and we're surviving- thriving really. I'm happy. The kids are happy. I'm pretty sure Scott is happy. All is good!
School is going really well for Trinity. She's working on her writing and reading. We're kinda struggling with her site words (Trinity isn't struggling so much as dad and I are). Teaching a child to read is hard work. Props to anyone who is homeschooling their child, I don't know that i'd have the patience. She's trucking along nicely though. She has my love for books, which is awesome!
Madison is doing well. We're working on letters and what starts with what. So far she can recognize half of the alphabet. Within the next few weeks we'll really be concentrating on writing, as I haven't really worked with her on that yet. She wants to learn so badly- loves doing her "homework" while Trinity is doing hers.
Mason is a genius, just like the older two, lol. He's trying so hard to scoot- he even gets up on his knees as if he's about to take off and crawl! He is so funny- loves to hear himself talk, just like Madison. I think he will end up with her personality. We take him in for his 4 month check up on Friday (the 29th). I can't believe he's almost 4 months old! Crazy! I already miss having a "little" baby.....not that he was ever tiny!
More to post after the 4 month check up/Trinity's halloween party/Halloween!
